Architecture of a Dream

Architecture of A Dream

A sense of history prevails in the works of the “architecture of a dream” series. The work hints at years spent at foreign excavations or on archaeological digs. They conger tiny dusty museums in remote locals that house specimens chloroformed and pinned to boards, Victorian dioramas, and  skeletons unearthed, placed under glass for the viewing public. In this vocabulary, common place items, such as an abandoned doll or a broken watch, feel like a part of forgotten family history. And as observed by a random scientist, the items take on the fractured and unintentional importance of dream. Imagine that these items are the only artifacts left of our culture. What would the future understand about us today?
